Meet Our Doctors

Physician

Dr. Lovett, M.D.

Dr. Lovett was born and raised in Texas. She attended school at Thousand Oaks Elementary, Bradley Middle School, and graduated from MacArthur High School, right here in San Antonio. She attended and graduated from Johns Hopkins University with Phi Beta Kappa and her B.S. degree in Behavioral Biology. She then returned to Texas and earned her MD at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Before medical school, she wasn’t sure what kind of doctor she wanted to be. But once she tried new things and went through her rotations, she realized she enjoyed any rotation involving children. This inspired her to go on to complete her pediatric residency through Baylor and Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, which is where she met the love of her life, Dennis.

Dr. Lovett initially joined a large practice in San Antonio where she worked for three years; but, in order to continue providing excellent medical care while also balancing life with her husband and 2 kids, she opened Priority Pediatrics in 2003.

Dr. Lovett is board certified in pediatrics and is looking forward to treating your child.

Physician

Dr. Mullins, D.O.

Dr. Mullins is a fellow Texan who also grew up in San Antonio. After high school, he moved to Hawaii and graduated from the University of Hawaii with his B.S. in Biology. He completed medical school at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and his residency in general pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Services/Arkansas Children's Hospital. Furthermore, he has also completed a fellowship in sports medicine from Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital. This fellowship focused on the nonsurgical treatment of sports injuries, which is a passion of his. If your child plays sports, Dr. Mullins can treat any acute injuries with our same-day sick appointments. He can also help improve chronic sports and overuse injuries as well as help prevent further injuries in the future. When not working, Dr. Mullins enjoys spending time with his wife Janice, his three wonderful children, and one energetic golden doodle.

Physician

Dr. Momin, D.O.

Dr. Momin is a board-certified pediatrician with a special interest in children’s sleep, newborn care, and helping families feel confident at every stage. After medical school, Dr. Momin completed her pediatrics residency at Baylor College of Medicine/Childrens Hospital of San Antonio. One of the things Dr. Momin loves about pediatrics is that she’s able to create long-term and meaningful relationships with her patients and their families.

This is the third pediatrician we have seen in the last 3 years due to a couple of moves, and he took way more time with us than any other doctor we have seen. I think having her as our pediatrician may be one of the most significant impacts to our family and raising our kids. She’s incredibly intelligent and thorough and simultaneously listens very well. Always considers the mom input- in fact she seeks it out. She has helped us through ADHD/ anxiety (those who don’t have a kid with this don’t understand how HELPFUL this is to have your pediatrician bridge the gap to pediatric psych) as well as multiple surgeries and obstacles our kiddos have faced. She deeply cares - keeps same day appointments open for sick kids (this is so Rare for pediatricians but she believes in it and once you have this you can’t go back as a mom) and truly knows her patients. She also makes it a point to talk directly with them and makes sure they understand her thoughts/ diagnosis/ med recommendations on age appropriate level. Once she helped me guide the birds and bees conversation with one of my kiddos and I honestly can’t tell you how helpful this was. We also love Dr Mullins- he’s been great for some sports injuries and welcomes the boys as they enter puberty and may want to have a male doctor. Really appreciate the way these two doctors put the patient and their care first. Often times you find large practices with large front office staff- never see your doc when kid is sick and feels like a factory with docs having to hit a quota. Count yourself lucky if you get into Priority Pediatrics.

She is very understanding of Autism and she helps us to advocate for this therapies and medical care. Her staff is so friendly and absolutely amazing with referrals. We have a lot of specialists and different therapies we go to and her team had everything worked out with insurance and referrals sent over very quickly. They also called me with updates until every referral was out and scheduled. We often have to jump through hoops with insurance for different therapies and she and her staff were very responsive and flexible with providing everything insurance and other providers needed.
